Thank you for your support.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us while we did our walk.

Both Carole and I had a hoot doing it, even if the legs hurt at the end!! We were both really buoyed up by all the funny, supportive and down right rude comments everybody sent to us!!

It made a real difference knowing that people were logging on and finding out how we were getting on. We didn’t feel so lonely up in the hills of Northumberland and Cumbria with all the cows and sheep!!!

We know from our IT guys back home that we had about 70 people regularly getting on line and reading our blog.

We can also let you know that we believe we have raised £1,000 for our chosen charities.

We reached our revised target of £750 for Cancer Research UK and though we need to check with our schools next week but we think there have been over £250 donated to Stony Dean and Heritage House.

We will confirm totals to you when we get them.

As you can see I was so chuffed with my endeavours that I had to buy the t-shirt so I can continue to bore the pants off anyone that I meet!!!

Thanks again,

A completely clean and cowpat free Jenny!!!

Hi all,
This just a little note to say thank you for all your support over the past week.  It was hard work especially as the weather wasn’t on our side,(there was only one day when we didn’t have to wear wet weather gear!) but with the scenery, it was certainly worth it.
We enjoyed doing the blog, even though we were tired at the end of the day.  I think the fact that we were often in the bar writing it ,helped! Those of you that sent comments, they really helped to motivate us,so thanks again.
We don’t know how much we have raised in total but our Just Giving site has exceeded it’s target of £750 (Cancer Research UK) and Jen and I think we have raised around £200 for the schools.
On Friday, I was home in time to do the school run and Sam gave me the biggest smile and hug ever.  I have never been away from him for a week before and that was the hardest bit!!
Many ,many thanks
love
Carole
We should also say a big thank you to the web master, Carole’s husband Jon, whose idea it was to do the blog and who set it all up for us.  For more info on how to set up your own blog you can contact him through  www.janetsystems.co.uk
